Winter Adventures & Activities

Children will enjoy a wide variety of hands-on winter fun, including:

  • Snowshoeing

  • Sledding and tubing down our hill

  • Animal track identification

  • Snow kitchen play

  • Squirt watercolour painting

  • Maple syrup exploration (later in the season)

  • And so much more!

During colder days, we’ll enjoy snacks, lunch, and creative crafts inside our heated garage — a cozy space to warm up and recharge before heading back out.

Available Programs (Ages 3–10)

We offer two engaging programs designed to suit different ages and comfort levels outdoors:

🌳 Oak Tree Program — Preschool Half-Day Program

Perfect for children ages 3–5 who are ready to build confidence, independence, and a love of outdoor learning. Our winter sessions offer plenty of opportunities for snowy adventures, nature exploration, active play, hands-on learning, and child-led discovery, all while developing social skills and confidence in a supportive Forest School environment. ❄️🌲

  • Days: Monday

  • Time: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM

  • Cost: $360

  • Dates: January 4th - March 1st

Each morning is filled with nature-based stories, songs, crafts, creative play, and outdoor exploration.

Evergreen/Douglas Fir — Full-Day Kindergarten/School-Age Program

Designed for children ages 6+ who are ready for a full day of outdoor adventure, discovery, and deeper learning.

Winter offers a whole new world to explore! Children build confidence, independence, resilience, and problem-solving skills while investigating snow, ice, wildlife, animal tracks, and seasonal changes.

Through active outdoor play, nature exploration, hands-on science, and academic extensions, children learn to embrace the season, challenge themselves, and connect deeply with nature.

Winter doesn't mean staying inside—it means discovering a whole new forest! 🌲❄️

Designed for children ages 6+ who are ready for a full day of adventure and discovery outdoors.

  • Days: Tuesday

  • Time: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM

  • Cost: $525

    Dates: January 5th - March 2nd

This full-day program allows for deeper learning, longer explorations, and meaningful connection with nature.
