    🌱 Saplings Program

    For Children Ages 1 to 4 (or 5)

    This program is designed for little explorers, ideally those who are able to walk and fully enjoy the activities—though non-walkers are always welcome to join in the fun!

    What to Expect:

    Multiple activity stations set up to create a safe and engaging environment for young children to explore and connect with nature and themselves.

    A focus on play-based learning, the best way for young children to develop and grow.

    Opportunities to strengthen both fine and gross motor skills through creative, hands-on play.

    A weekly nature-themed craft to spark creativity and curiosity.

    Important: A parent or guardian must stay with the child throughout the morning to provide support and share in the experience.

    Designed for Children Ages 3 to 10

    Our drop-off programs nurture your child’s confidence, independence, and creativity through immersive outdoor learning. Play and time spent in nature are essential for children’s social, physical, psychological, and spiritual wellbeing—the benefits are truly endless.

    Each week features a general nature theme, adapted to the interests of the group, ensuring engaging and meaningful experiences for all.

    As a Registered Early Childhood Educator, Lindsay integrates literacy, mathematics, creative play, and gross and fine motor skills into every session.

    🌿 Program Details

    Oak Tree Program

    Ages: 3+ (younger children/new to Forest School)

    Time: Mornings, 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM

    Runs alongside the Evergreen Program

    A nature-themed morning filled with stories, songs, crafts, creative play, and forest exploration

    Older children support younger peers, fostering confidence and independence while learning together in nature

    Evergreen Program

    Ages: 4+

    Time: Full day, 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM

    Ideal for children in Kindergarten to Grade 1 who would benefit from a nature-based alternative to traditional school days

    Offers a deeper dive into learning and outdoor experiences, in all weather conditions

    Douglas Fir Program (New!)

    Ages: Children turning 6 in 2025 (Grade 1-2)

    Designed for children seeking a greater challenge

    Combines nature-based play and exploration with more advanced academic activities

    Encourages in-depth learning while enjoying time outdoors
