🍂 Fall at Forest School 🍁

The colors are vibrant, the cooler weather keeps the bugs at bay, and everything is pumpkin-spiced—what’s not to love about fall?

This season offers so many beautiful opportunities for learning in nature. From exploring the life cycle of an apple tree to discovering the long vines of pumpkins, mushrooms popping up everywhere, and understanding why leaves change color and fall—autumn is rich with hands-on learning experiences.

And as the season continues, even more discoveries await!

Available Programs – Ages 3–10

We offer three nature-based programs designed to suit different ages and learning styles:

🌳 Oak Tree Program (HALF DAY) — Ideal for younger children

• Designed for children new to Forest School or those who prefer a shorter day.

• A gentle introduction to nature-based learning through play, exploration, and guided activities.

🌲 Evergreen Program (FULL DAY) — For ages 3.5+

• A full-day program for children who are comfortable being outdoors in all weather.

• Perfect for those in kindergarten or Grade 1, or any child who would benefit from a day away from traditional classroom settings.

Status: 3 spaces
Day: Tuesday

Dates: September 15 – November 24th
Time: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Cost: $640

🌲 Douglas Fir Program (FULL DAY) — For ages 6+

• Our newest program, designed for children who are ready for a bit more challenge.

• Includes nature-based play and exploration, along with academic extensions and in-depth learning.

• Best suited for children turning 6 in 2025, or in Grades 1–2.

Day: Wednesdays
Dates: September 16th – November 25th
Time: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
