SUMMER ……What an exciting time of year at the homestead; gardens are in full swing, nature is exploding with interesting items to discover, the energy of the sun and that perfect summer breeze to help cool us off (or a little sprinkle of rain)

Juniper Summer Day Camp

This program is geared towards children aged 5 -10 (entering SK or a child who has been to my program before.). The Juniper programs runs 9-3 for the full week. This is a great week for siblings to join in together. The games and activities will be geared for a broader age range as we will be exploring the forest, learning a new environmental based theme each day, which will include a fun activity and crafts, water play, mini putt, yummy freezies and so MUCH MORE!

I am now offering day to day drop off. Price is $65/day

Rainbow Eucalyptus Art Camp

This new camp will be as unique and artistic as its name. The beautiful rainbow eucalyptus is a true sign that art is found in nature. Standing 197-246 feet tall this beauty shows us that you ca find rainbows anywhere.

This camp will focus on different artistic mediums.

Each day will be a new art theme and some projects will be completed throughout the week.

This camp is ideal for children who have a love and passion for crafts, age suggestion is 6 plus. We will also have breaks enjoying the yard and forest.

Each artist will create

  • Different varieties of paper (seed paper, recycled paper, paper decorative bowls)

  • Painting - using different mediums such as acrylic and water colors. Create their own colors using nature.

  • Clay - creating unique designs.

  • Mixed medium - oil pastels, nature, cutting, gluing, exploring different ideas.

  • DIY bird house

  • Sit Spots - a great way to connect with nature and yourself.

Cedar Summer Day Camp

CAMP IS FULL

This program is geared towards children aged 5-10 (entering grade 1 or a child who has been to my program before). The Cedar program runs 9-3 for the full week in July. During this week we will be exploring the forest learning about tree identification, animals signs in the forest and other fun little critters we discover, investigate some vernal pools in the forest using a microscope to see all the neat little creates hidden form the naked eye, a daily theme, crafts and activities are sure to keep your children enjoying themselves during their summer holidays. Freezies will also be served daily as a nice cool down after a day enjoying nature outside.
